We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Fleet insurance

All rental vehicles are covered by a motor fleet insurance policy including third-party liability, fully comprehensive and theft cover with an insurer licensed in Germany. Territorial scope: European Union, Switzerland, Norway, United Kingdom.

Last updated: 1 July 2026. This Privacy Policy informs you, in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), about the processing of personal data on this website and in the course of our rental services.

2. What data we process

• Contact and booking enquiries: name, email address, phone number, preferred dates, message content – to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR).
• Contract data: ID and driving licence details, payment data, deposit data – to perform the rental contract and to comply with statutory obligations (Art. 6 (1)(b), (c) GDPR).
• Server log data: IP address (shortened), date, time, page accessed, browser type – to ensure technical security (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR); deleted after 7 days.
• Cookies: see Section 5 below.

3. Retention periods

Enquiry data is deleted no later than 6 months after the communication ends if no contract is concluded. Contract and invoice data is retained for 8 or 10 years in accordance with Sections 147 of the German Fiscal Code (AO) and 257 of the German Commercial Code (HGB). The data is deleted thereafter.

4. Recipients of the data

Data is shared exclusively with: payment service providers (for deposit and payment processing), our motor insurer (in the event of a claim), tax advisors (statutory retention), and public authorities in the case of traffic offences (Section 25a of the German Road Traffic Act, StVG). No data is transferred to third countries outside the EU/EEA.

5. Cookies and consent

This website uses technically necessary cookies (to store your cookie preferences and manage sessions) on the basis of Section 25 (2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). Statistics and marketing cookies are only set with your express consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR, Section 25 (1) TDDDG), which you grant via the cookie banner and may withdraw at any time with future effect via "Cookie Settings" in the footer.

7. Obligation to provide data

Providing your data is necessary for concluding a rental contract (statutory identification requirements, insurance requirements). Without this data we cannot conclude the contract.

8. No automated decision-making

No profiling or automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

General Terms and Conditions of Velano Prestige Mobility GmbH, Kurfürstendamm 195, 10707 Berlin (hereinafter the "Lessor"). Last updated: 1 July 2026.

§ 1 Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all vehicle rental contracts between the Lessor and its customers (hereinafter the "Renter"). Deviating terms of the Renter shall not apply unless the Lessor expressly agrees to them in writing.

§ 2 Conclusion of contract

The presentation of vehicles on the website does not constitute a binding offer. By submitting the booking form, the Renter makes a binding offer. The contract is concluded only upon the Lessor's booking confirmation in text form (email).

§ 3 Rental requirements

Minimum age 25 years (supercars: 30 years), category B driving licence held for at least 3 years, a valid identity document and a credit card in the Renter's name. The vehicle may only be driven by the drivers named in the rental contract.

§ 4 Prices and payment

All prices are in euros and include the statutory German VAT of currently 19%. The rental price includes 250 free kilometres per rental day, fully comprehensive and theft cover (€1,500 excess unless reduced), servicing and vehicle tax. Additional kilometres are charged at €0.89/km (supercars €1.90/km). Payment is due at vehicle handover by credit card, debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay; corporate clients may pay on invoice by arrangement.

§ 5 Security deposit

At handover, a deposit of between €1,000 and €5,000 (depending on the vehicle class, stated in the quote) is pre-authorised on the Renter's credit card. The pre-authorisation is released within 3–5 banking days after proper return of the vehicle.

§ 6 Handover and return

The vehicle is handed over cleaned and with a full tank, accompanied by a digital handover protocol, and must be returned in the same condition. If the vehicle is returned without a full tank, the fuel costs plus a €25 service fee will be charged. A late return of more than 60 minutes entitles the Lessor to charge one additional rental day.

§ 7 Renter's obligations

The Renter shall treat the vehicle with care, observe the owner's manual and the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO), and secure the vehicle against theft. The following are prohibited in particular: participation in motorsport events and driver-safety trainings, subletting, commercial passenger transport, journeys outside the insured territorial scope, and driving under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.

§ 8 Renter's liability

In the event of damage, the Renter is liable up to the agreed excess per claim. In the case of damage caused by gross negligence or intent, or a breach of § 7, the Renter's liability is unlimited. The liability reduction does not apply to damage to tyres, rims, underbody and interior unless caused by an insured event.

§ 9 Lessor's liability

The Lessor is liable without limitation in cases of intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. In cases of simple negligence, the Lessor is liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

§ 10 Traffic offences

The Renter is liable for traffic offences committed during the rental period. The Lessor is legally obliged to name the driver to the authorities; an administration fee of €25 is charged per case, unless the Renter proves that no expense, or a significantly lower expense, was incurred.

§ 11 Cancellation

The conditions set out in the Cancellation & Withdrawal policy apply: free cancellation up to 72 hours before the rental starts; 30% of the rental price for cancellations between 72 and 24 hours; 50% for less than 24 hours. The statutory right of withdrawal for consumers remains unaffected.

§ 12 Final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If the Renter is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Berlin. Should individual provisions of these Terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

Right of withdrawal for consumers

Consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) have the following statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts and contracts concluded off business premises:

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

– of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the statutory model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction; in no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal

If you have requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period (e.g. the rental starts before the 14 days have expired), you shall pay us, in the event of withdrawal, a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided up to the time of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal expires once the service has been performed in full and you expressly consented to performance beginning before the end of the withdrawal period.

Contractual cancellation terms (in addition to the statutory right of withdrawal)

• Up to 72 hours before the rental starts: free cancellation, 100% refund of any payments made within 14 days.
• 72 to 24 hours before the rental starts: cancellation fee of 30% of the total rental price.
• Less than 24 hours before the rental starts, or no-show: cancellation fee of 50% of the total rental price.
• Free rebooking to another date or vehicle is possible up to 24 hours before the rental begins.

The Renter remains free to prove that the Lessor incurred no loss or a significantly lower loss. Refunds are always made to the original means of payment.

Return address

Vehicles are returned to: Velano Prestige Mobility GmbH, Handover Station, Kurfürstendamm 195, 10707 Berlin – or at the agreed delivery location. The return time is recorded in the rental contract.
